Dr. Stuart Davis is the clinical director of Peachtree Behavioral Health. Dr. Davis
has 20 years of clinical experience in psychiatry. Prior to establishing Peachtree
Behavioral Health, Dr. Davis served as the director of admissions at the Thomas Finan
Psychiatric Hospital in Cumberland, MD. He has also served as a consulting psychiatrist
for the Griffin Georgia Juvenile Detention Center and Clayton County Community Mental
Dr. Davis holds a bachelors degree from the University of California at Berkeley
and a doctorate of medicine from Georgetown University. He completed his medical
internship at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, California and a residency in
psychiatry at George Washington University. In addition, he completed post-graduate
research in Eating Disorders at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Davis is recognized expert on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
He serves as an expert speaker on ADHD for Pfizer and Shire pharmaceutical companies.
He also serves as an expert speaker on anxiety and sleep disorders for Forest Labs
and Cephalon pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Davis is the proud father of three active
children. In his spare time, he enjoys all things sports as well as photography.
In addition, he is a travel and automobile enthusiast.
